Youth Consultation Service (YCS) is a private, non-profit behavioral health and social services agency that has been caring for at risk children and families since 1918 in therapeutic residences, special education schools, in-home and in-community programs throughout NJ. The agency has also expanded its programming to include in-home and residential services for behaviorally challenged, children and young adults on the autism spectrum and intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Currently seeking SRT (Situational Response Team Unit)Behavioral Assistants.
Ideal candidates must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to substitute or supplement childcare staff in the residential and in-community programs throughout the Southern Region.
Duties include:
Providing quality daily care and supervision of assigned clients.
Oversee subordinate child care worker/residential assistant staff in the absence of Supervisors.
Working as a supervisor to oversee subordinate child care workers and residential assistant staff to ensure they provide quality daily hands-on care and supervision of assigned clients.
All new hires are required to attend a week-long orientation. (Monday - Friday - 8:45am - 4:00pm)
Part-Time: Schedule - VariesRequirementsMust have and maintain a Valid NJ Driver license.
Must be 21+ years of age.
3-5 years of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting
H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. College preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
