Director of Nursing

The Director of Nursing will become a part of our multidisciplinary team (Psychiatrist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Residential Counselors) that provide an array of therapeutic services to individuals in our care.

Responsibilities:
Assist the Chief and VP of Nursing in the ongoing Supervision of daily nursing services at YCS facilities.
Responsible for working with Program Directors, Nurse Managers and Nursing Staff at facilities, ensuring appropriate care is given to YCS consumers.
Assist to ensure YCS medical policies and procedures are in compliance with accrediting and monitoring agencies such as JCAHO, CARF, DYFS, DDD, DCF, DCBHS.
Assist in the coordination of consulting ancillary medical personnel by reviewing/revising service contracts for consultants annual or as needed for dietitians.
Assist in the designing and implementing a range of health and safety programs for both consumers/students and staff in cooperation with various Departments of the Agency including but not limited to; annual Flu vaccination for employees, health education requirements for Facilities/Programs, Oversee medical/nursing services provided and staffing needs for the Annual Residential/Treatment Home/Autistic Camps/H'Olympics/ Summer School Programs.
Assists in supervising the collection of data for periodic health services reports.
Conducts staff meetings for the purpose of addressing topics such as infectious control, new policies and procedures, personnel issues, in-service training, and review of pertinent medical case studies.
Demonstrates knowledge of principles and practices in taking vital signs; maintaining records and recording test results.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with consumers/students, medical staff and the public Requirements:
Bachelor's Science in Nursing (BSN)Current NJ State licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)Current CPR certification3 years of administrative or management experience in the nursing profession.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
